Since 2020, the BBK Bremen offers monthly, open consultation seminars for legal and fiscal questions and supports professional artists with two regularly organized consulting sessions in the areas of law and taxes. Many problems can be solved before they become expensive. For members of the BBK Bremen, there is now the possibility to receive advice quickly and unbureaucratically within the framework of a free monthly consultation hour.

Jule Körperich has practiced as a lawyer in Bremen since 2005. She studied fine arts at the Hfk Bremen and works as an animator. In September 2020, she gave up her secure, salaried existence and joined forces with colleagues Oliver Heinz and Michael v. Rothkirch in Bremen-Barkhof, who have been working in copyright and media law for over 15 years. They now advise creative artists on all legal issues relating to their profession. This includes audits of contracts relating to the production, exhibition or sale of art and all questions concerning events, licenses, Internet presences, the KSK, Gema and other collecting societies, studio leases, personal rights, warnings, debt collection, etc.

Frank Buckwitz has been a tax consultant since 2001 and has been working in his own office in Bremen since 2015. His field of activity includes tax support and consulting for small and medium-sized companies of all related legal forms as well as for private individuals.
He has been a member of the board of examiners for tax consultants in Bremen for many years and in his spare time is an avid rower, in addition to playing the piano.
“Who, if not me, should understand this?” Among other things, he sees it as his job to navigate his clients through the complex tax law. That is why, since 2021, he also offers a monthly consultation hour at the BBK – to provide uncomplicated advice and support.
