The BBK Bremen is an association of professional visual artists from the fields of painting, sculpture, photography, film, performance and new media. It has over 200 members from Bremen and the surrounding area and maintains an office in the Künstlerhaus Bremen on the Weser. The association sees itself as a network in Bremen and is at the same time associated with the federal association in Berlin.
It is a player in cultural policy in the city and in dialogue with the Senator for Culture.
